"Brad" is Micah Miller of Canton, Ohio. He is a graduate of Canton McKinley Senior High School and currently attends
Kent State University. From Bulldogs to Bucks to Browns, Northeastern Ohio has its share of "A"-rated, "B"-named
football teams!
Micah is a born, raised, blue-collar Ohioan who loves his football and his books. He has been writing since 2005, both
pre-professionally and professionally on a variety of local venues and is excited to venture out into uncharted territory.
Entertainment-wise, Micah is a bit of a Trekkie (by which he means he will lick Star Trek boot). He is also a fan of Doctor
Who and just about anything on the Discovery Channel. Micah is a fan of off-beat movies such as the Richard Elfman cult classic
"The Forbidden Zone" and "Runaway Train." His tastes in music are eclectic but based in the 1980s, including
Journey, Styx, Soft Cell, Guns N' Roses, Poison and, of course, Loverboy. Cause ya' gotta know, "Everybody's Working
for the Weekend."
Micah is an English/performance arts major, trying to find his way to New York City. Being an English major, he doesn't
have much time for recreational reading, and when he does, it's normally out of his literature textbooks.
As previously mentioned, the Bulldogs (McKinley), Bucks (Ohio State Buckeyes), and Browns (Cleveland) rank as Micah's
top sports teams, along with the Cleveland Indians. He is and always will be a hometown fan! But Micah also takes a liking
to New England's Pats and Red Sox. His favorite players are Brady Quinn, C.C. Sabathia, Grady Sizemore, Ken Griffey Jr. and
Tom Brady.
Inspired by his readings, Micah has one fat, spoiled, black cat named Cujo, thanks to Stephen King. Micah typically writes
contemporary American drama, though he ventures out from flash fiction and short stories to novellas and full-length novels.
This is his first involvement in a Web site, though one of his passions is trying to capture the intensity of a sports game
through words. Micah hopes to do that here and entertain a few of dear readers along the way.
